About Us
We are the friends and family members of critically ill patients in Texas hospitals who've been harmed by the Texas Advance Directives Act. Our loved ones were sentenced to death by thier attending physicians and hospital ethics committees. We have experienced the pain and outrage of watching a helpless loved one be stripped of their most basic human right: the right to live.
Some of these patients survived the threat because we had the strength to fight, or we had the resources to fight, or simply the blessings of friends and supporters to stand beside us and help us defend the lives of our loved ones.
We join together here to fight for justice for the helpless, to fight until the Texas Advance Directives Act of 1999 is amended so that no doctor or ethics committee has the right to violate a patient's choice to continue to fight to live.
We fight for those patients and families who do not have the strength, resources, or support to fight this immoral act. We fight for you and your family and for every family in Texas.
We hope you'll join us.
